Boldglen was originally founded by Tom and Anne Cunningham in 1988 as an agency providing carers for care homes and adolescence, as well as many others in need of care.
In 1991 we established the Boldglen Home Care Agency for in-house carers and piloted the care in the community scheme. After great success, this is now used across the whole of the UK to provide care for those who otherwise would be at risk. We are a company that has always gone from strength to strength, priding ourselves on the quality of care we provide as opposed to how cheap we can offer it.
We are currently registered with UKHCA (UK Home Care Association), the Quality Care Commission, the Kent Integrated Care Alliance and of course the Kent and Medway Councils.
With our office located in Medway, our clients are never far from a point of contact should they need to change their arrangements at short notice. We now employ some 100 carers all of whom are trained to NVQ level 2-3. Only when they reach this standard are they allowed to work on their own caring for individuals. All our staff are put through the Enhanced DBS check to ensure your loved ones safety. We also ensure our carers wear full uniform with their ID badges on display. This ensures our clients can easily recognise them, removing any fear of not knowing who they are.
